Parent Child Connection Group Guidelines
Please help our group run smoothly by respecting the following:
· Parents are expected to handle behavioral issues, and are responsible for their children at all times.
· Take your child aside to speak with or discipline him/her to avoid disrupting group discussions.
· Group is an excellent tome to teach this age to share and take turns. Please monitor your own child and assist them in mastering these skills.
· Please be considerate of others speaking during group discussions.
· IF YOUR CHILD HAS (OR HAD THE PREVIOUS DAY) A FEVER, DIARRHEA, RUNNY NOSE, OR HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO ANY ILLNESS, PLEASE STAY AT HOME AND JOIN US ANOTHER DAY.
A Parent – Child Connection is…
A parent support and education group for mothers, fathers, or other caretakers of young children, as well as a playgroup for the children. We meet with our infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to discuss topics that will enrich our understanding of infant/early childhood development. We also want to affirm and strengthen healthy families by sharing ideas about raising children, passing on tradition and Catholic values.
We meet Tuesdays from 10:00 - 11:30 am in the Blessed Kateri Faith Formation Center (on Rt. 82…go down to the lower level). Our meetings are fun, informational and informal. Come join us!!
To cover program costs, there is a fee of $2 for one child and $1 extra per additional child. Costs include: snack, drinks, supplies and crafts.
For further information about the Parent – Child Connection, please contact Kristin DeGregorio at 914-275-2637 or via email KBDegregorio@yahoo.com.
Please note: If Wappingers or Arlington Schools are delayed or cancelled, the group does not meet and we will hold the next meeting as scheduled.
We look forward to meeting you!
